Our parent dogs at Overlook Mountain Labradors are fully screened and certified through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for hips, elbows, heart and eyes. They also undergo extensive genetic testing through Paw Print Genetics. This screening includes conditions like:
- Exercise-Induced Collapse (EIC)
- Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-prcd)
- Degenerative Myelopathy (DM)
- Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
- Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK)
- Copper Toxicity
These proactive measures ensure we’re doing everything possible to prevent inherited diseases and to promote lifelong health in our puppies.

- Microchipping for permanent identification
