At what age can puppies go to their new homes?

Our puppies must be at least 8 weeks old before they leave for their new homes.

Do you require a deposit to reserve a puppy?

Yes, a deposit is required to reserve a puppy.

Are deposits refundable?

No, deposits are non-refundable.

Will we receive AKC registration for our puppy?

Yes, all of our puppies come with AKC Limited Registration.

What is your policy on spaying and neutering?

We recommend spaying or neutering after 20 months of age.

Can you provide references or reviews of your breeding program?

Do you offer breeding rights to pet owners?

We offer AKC limited registration on our pet puppies.

Puppy/Dog Care & Training

What training do you provide before puppies go home?

We offer a basic manners program, including crate training, leash training, and socialization to help puppies transition smoothly.

How do you socialize your puppies?

Our puppies are raised in our home and exposed to children, other animals, and various environments to ensure they are well-socialized.

What diet do you suggest for your pups?

We recommend Purina Pro Plan 30/20 Sport all life stages.

Puppy/Dog Pick-Up & Delivery

Where are you located?

We are located in Saugerties, NY.

Do your puppies/dogs come with microchips?

Yes, they do. Microchips allow us to safely locate your pup.

Can we pick up our puppy/dog in person?

Yes! We encourage in-person pick-ups.

Do you offer delivery options?

Yes, we can arrange delivery through reliable couriers.

Breeder Support & Policies

What support do you offer new puppy/dog owners?

We provide lifetime breeder support to help guide you throughout your dog’s life.

Can we return a dog if needed?

Yes, we always welcome back any dog we have bred for its entire life.

Do you offer co-ownerships?

Yes, we do offer co-ownership agreements.

Do you ever have retired Labradors?

Yes! Occasionally we have retired Labradors that are trained and will thrive in a home environment.

Stud Services

Do you offer fresh and frozen semen from your stud dogs?

Yes, we offer both fresh and frozen semen from our stud dogs.

What is the Overlook stud fee?

Overlook stud fee is $2500–$3500.

When is the service fee due?

Non-refundable $1000 service fee is due at the time of breeding.

Do your stud dogs have clearances?

Overlook stud dogs have OFA hip & elbow clearances, CERF eye clearances, and OFA cardiac clearances using echo doppler.

What are the tests required for females being bred?

Hips & elbows clearances, heart clearance, eye clearance.

Do you require progesterone testing?

Yes, we require progesterone testing to identify ovulation and the appropriate time to send the collection and do the breeding.
