The Overlook Standard

Raising AKC Labrador puppies is a full-time commitment here at Overlook. Each litter is born and raised in our home, and we devote the majority of our time to ensuring our puppies and dogs receive the utmost care and attention.

  • All pet/companion puppies are sold on AKC limited registration.

  • Puppies are up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and undergo an extensive health exam by a veterinarian.

  • All puppies’ parents are certified with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals for hips, elbows, eyes, and heart, and genetically tested with Paw Print Genetic for Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), Cystinuria, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Exercise-Induced Collapse (EIC), Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK), and Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd) to ensure that your puppy is as healthy as possible.

  • Puppies are available for pick up at a minimum of 8 weeks old.

Each new owner will recieve a Puppy Packet which will included all veterinarian and AKC registration information along with feeding and care instructions and of course lifetime AKC breeder support.
